Dear Esteemed Members Greetings!
“Sri Krishnaya Vasudevaya, Haraye Paramatmane,
Pranata Klesha Nashaya, Govindaya Namo Namah.”
Warm greetings from the Visakhapatnam Branch.
The month of May 2026 was both
professionally enriching and eventful for our
Branch. We successfully organized a series of high
quality Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
programmes covering diverse and contemporary
subjects including the Companies Act, 2013,
Income Tax Act, 2025, Taxation of Trusts and NPOs,
Capital Gains, TDS, Tax Planning, CSR Compliance,
Removal of Auditors, FCRA, and several practical
aspects of the evolving regulatory landscape. These
knowledge-driven programmes, delivered by
eminent faculty from across the country, received
an encouraging response and significantly
contributed to the professional development of
our members.
I deem it a privilege to place on record our
profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to
the distinguished faculty members who graciously
accepted our invitation and travelled from various
parts of the country to enrich our professional
programmes during the month of May 2026. We
remain deeply indebted to CA Madhav Sure,
Visakhapatnam; CA S. Smruthi Sree,
Visakhapatnam; CA Cotha S. Srinivas, Bengaluru;
CA Suresh T. G., Chennai; CA Dr. M. Kandasami,
Chennai; CA Bharani Kumar Durga, Hyderabad; CA
Adv. Pankaj Saraogi, Delhi; and CA Chunduru
Sudheer, Vijayawada for their invaluable
contribution to the knowledge initiatives of our
Branch.
Their scholarly presentations, practical
insights, rich professional experience, and
unwavering commitment to knowledge
dissemination significantly enhanced the quality
of our programmes and provided immense value
to the members. Despite their demanding
professional schedules, they travelled considerable
distances to share their expertise and perspectives,
reflecting their dedication towards the
advancement of the profession and continuous
learning. On behalf of the Managing Committee
and the entire membership of the Visakhapatnam
Branch, I convey our sincere thanks, deep
appreciation, and best wishes to all the esteemed
speakers for their gracious support, inspiring
guidance, and continued association with the
Branch.
Another notable achievement during the
month was the successful conduct of the 64th
Campus Placement Programme, which provided
aspiring Chartered Accountants with an excellent
opportunity to connect with reputed organizations
and embark on promising professional careers.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to
the members who have responded positively to
the Branch’s appeal for the One-Time Annual Fee
Payment Scheme. This initiative has been
introduced with the objective of simplifying
members’ participation in Branch programmes
while enabling better planning and delivery of
professional, educational, and member-centric
activities throughout the year. I request those
members who are yet to avail themselves of this
facility to kindly consider enrolling at the earliest
and extend their support to this initiative. Your
cooperation and encouragement will go a long way
in helping the Branch continue to organize quality
programmes, member engagement activities, and
family-oriented events for the benefit of the entire
fraternity.
We were also privileged to represent our
Branch at the TV9 Education Expo 2026, held on
31st May 2026 at Novotel, Visakhapatnam. The
event served as an excellent platform to interact
with students, parents, and career aspirants and
to create awareness about the Chartered
Accountancy profession. Through career guidance
and counselling, we highlighted the immense
opportunities, professional excellence, and
leadership potential offered by the CA course. The
enthusiastic response from students and parents
reaffirmed the growing recognition of Chartered
Accountancy as a preferred career path and
underscored our responsibility in guiding the next
generation of professionals.
As we move into June 2026, our focus
extends beyond professional learning to member
engagement, fitness, sports, family participation,
and celebrations leading up to CA Day on 1st July
2026. The Branch has planned a wide range of
activities designed to bring together members and
their families while promoting wellness,
camaraderie, talent, and professional bonding.
The coming weeks will feature sports and fitness
initiatives, recreational competitions, cultural
programmes, family engagement activities, special
events for women members, wellness
programmes, member interaction sessions, and
several professional seminars. These initiatives are
intended to make our CA Day celebrations more
vibrant, inclusive, and memorable.
I earnestly request all members to
participate actively in the various programmes
being organized. Wherever registrations or
confirmations are required, kindly respond
promptly through the Google Forms and
communication links circulated by the Branch. Your
timely participation will greatly assist us in planning
and executing these events effectively.
I would also like to make a special appeal
to our women members and family members.
Several exciting and meaningful programmes have
been planned exclusively for you. I encourage you
to come forward enthusiastically, participate
wholeheartedly, and showcase your talents during
the cultural and family-oriented events scheduled
as part of the CA Day celebrations.
The strength of our Branch lies not only in
professional excellence but also in the active
involvement and collective spirit of our members
and their families. Let us come together to learn,
celebrate, compete, connect, and create lasting
memories while strengthening the bonds within
our professional fraternity.
I look forward to your enthusiastic
participation and support in all the forthcoming
activities.
Together, let us make CA Day 2026 a grand
celebration of our profession, our fraternity, and
our shared commitment to excellence.
With warm regards,
CA. Patnala Lokesh
