Chairman's Message

Dear Esteemed Members Greetings!
Rise, Awake, Learn – Kamhopanicad 1.3.14
Meaning (English):
Arise! Awake! Approach the wise and learn. The path is sharp like a razor’s edge and difficult to walk — the wise know this well.
At the outset I extend my heartfelt wishes to you, your families and loved ones on the auspicious and joyful festivals Dussehra and Deepavali. May these festivals bring happiness and cheers to our lives.
Tax Audit:
Pursuant to the representation made by our leadership and from various stake holders, The Central Board of Direct Taxes had extended the due date for filing Tax Audit reports from 30th September 2025 to 31st October 2025, enabling us to celebrate the festivals. I’m sure many of us would have completed their tax audit reports submission prior to the erstwhile due date. This year, we all experienced additional pressure and stress as the last date for filing income tax returns for individual taxpayers was extended to 15th September, subsequently one more day extension given due to income tax portal glitches. Despite these issues, our members managed to handle the pressure and ensured timely filing of the returns.
In this connection, I urge all the members to take care of personal health. Our health is very important. Accept the assignments/ work load to the extent one can handle without facing any pressure.
CAMPUS PLACEMENT
I'm happy to share that, our Visakhapatnam Branch successfully conducted 62nd campus placement interviews, creating valuable career opportunities for newly qualified Chartered Accountants. The event witnessed the participation of top corporates including HP, Hindalco, and Nephrocare, who recognized the potential of young CAs and extended attractive job offers.
I extend heartfelt congratulations to the selected candidates and encouraged them to contribute to the profession with dedication and integrity. Such active participation of reputed companies at the Visakhapatnam campus reflects the city’s rising prominence as a hub for professional talent and industrial growth.
This recruitment drive symbolizes not only the expansion of economic opportunities in the region but also the strengthening role of Chartered Accountants in driving India’s growth story. The ICAI Visakhapatnam Branch reiterates its commitment to empowering members, nurturing young professionals, and bridging the gap between industry and talent.
Total number of candidates attended the Campus are 25 members out of which 15 were shortlisted/ received the offer letter.
